Day 45 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

Day 44 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

We got off the cruise ship this morning and drove all day, spending the night in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Here's my hotel shot of my Everett with my 32Degrees Twill Joggers, merino compression socks (have I said how much I love these?), Woolx tee, and Allbirds Wool Runners (I have worn these every day for over two weeks now, many days without socks. No sweating, love them.)

Day 43 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Last day of the cruise, been a bit punk with stomach issues but still wearing my Everett and still writing every day (at least a bit). Woolx merino t-shirt, Little Donkey Andy pants, merino compressions socks, and Allbirds Wool Runners. Loving having more merino things to wear, they're all so comfortable. Kind of like a hug.

Day 42 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Cozumel is a comfortable temperature but getting ready to rain. Perfect for my Everett, worn over Little Donkey Andy capris, a Woolx tee-shirt, and Teva Mush II flip-flops.

Day 41 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

The days are just flying by - it feels so good to toss on my Everett every morning. The more I wear it, the softer it gets. Today we are at Grand Cayman and so is the Celebrity Apex. 

This is a tender port, I'm staying on board and writing while hubby is off scuba diving. Perfect temperature for the Everett combined with some soft capri leggings and my every day Allbirds burgundy Wool Runners. Oh, and this is a CRUISE HAIR - DON'T CARE day!

Day 40 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Today we are in Ochos Rios, Jamaica and it's a beautiful sunny day. I had to include my favorite towel animal, the hanging monkey. He always makes me smile. Holland America is ported off our balcony side so added that shot, too. Oh, I'm wearing my Everett over a Woolx short-sleeve shirt with merino compression socks and my Little Donkey Andy pants and Allbirds Wool Runners.

Day 39 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Ah, another day at sea and today I paired my Everett with some cruising-related leggings, my Allbirds Wool Runners, and underneath it is a Woolx short-sleeved tee. It's not cold, but if I get too warm, the Everett will come off and get draped over my shoulders. Remember how we wore our sweaters that way back in the 50-60s - the collegiate/preppy look.

Day 38 - 100 Day Wool& challenge

 

Hubby and I at the thank you lunch for the Carnival loyalty members. Hubby is wearing his wool polo shirt I found on ebay for him. I'm wearing my Everett with black pants, a Woolx short sleeve t-shirt, all topped with a scarf. It's windy and chilly today - sea day.

Day 37 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

In the port of New Orleans on a cold, drizzly day but I'm warm in my merino t-shirt from Woolx topped with my Everett.

Day 36 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

It's a sea day and cooler as we head back to New Orleans. The ship has been really cold all week, at least for hubby and I, so today I layered a t-shirt underneath my Everett (since the color blended nicely). Wearing my Little Donkey Andy black pants and burgundy wool compression socks with my burgundy Allbirds Wool Runners.

Day 35 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Today we're in Cozumel and the Ruby Princess is parked beside us with a Royal Caribbean ship on the other side of her. Not too humid or hot - nice day for my Everett.

Day 34 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

It's Belize today but I'm staying on board and the ship has been consistently cool which is good for Everett wearing. Ignore my sleepy eyes...LOL!

Day 33 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

Day 32 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Ready for dinner in the steakhouse. Added black leggings, my mauve shrug from Amazon, my scarf from Amazon, to my Everett. Feeling good!

Day 31 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

I slept in the Everett last night, today is wash day. Should be interesting on the cruise ship.

REPORT: Washed in the bathroom sink, my flat sink stopper helped keep the water in (learned from previous cruises when washing undies), and I used Eucalan Delicate Wash - Natural Unscented for the first time. Worked well, nice to not have to rinse. The Everett is a bit of a bear in the sink since I didn't want to wring it out. Got as much water out as I could, then laid it on the bath towel and rolled it up and squished it. It's now hanging from the ceiling of our cabin on the folding hanger I bought for travel. All is good! Well, unless I end up with shoulder pouches and have to wet them. LOL!

 

Day 30 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Headed from the hotel in Slidell, LA to the cruise port in New Orleans.

And we made it! Two weeks of cruising the Western Caribbean.

Day 29 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

In the hotel, getting ready to leave for our next hotel. LOL! But couldn't decide which pic I liked better, so here's me in the car as hubby loads our luggage. Also wearing an old Walmart underlayer and my beloved 32degrees quilted vest.

Day 28 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

Hotel room photo this morning before we headed to the movies. We ended up with two overnight stays in Tuscaloosa due to the impending bad weather. It's cold here so I loved having something warmer to ward off the chills. Still wearing my Everett, 32degrees twill joggers, and merino compressions socks from Amazon. 

Day 27 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Today is a travel day, all day. Spending two nights outside Tuscaloosa, Alabama as we head to New Orleans for our two weeks of cruising. Photo inside car, outside McDonalds. Everett layered over old Walmart long sleeve shirt, 32degrees twill joggers, and my favorite burgundy Allbirds Wool Runners.

Day 26 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

 

Headed to my appointment with my ENT doctor, currently sitting waiting for construction road stoppage. Next shot is waiting to be seen and showing off my high-top Allbirds Wool Runner Mizzles with my Minus33 Expedition wool leggings and Dickies (not wool) socks. 

Oh, the appointment went well!
