Day 27 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

Today is a travel day, all day. Spending two nights outside Tuscaloosa, Alabama as we head to New Orleans for our two weeks of cruising. Photo inside car, outside McDonalds. Everett layered over old Walmart long sleeve shirt, 32degrees twill joggers, and my favorite burgundy Allbirds Wool Runners.

Walking at a rest stop, Everett over olive colored tech joggers from 32 degrees, Allbirds Wool Runner shoes, merino compression socks from Amazon with short merino socks on top for extra warmth. It was cold when we left the house this morning.

Day 24 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

It's cold today, so I opted for my 32Degrese mock turtle underneath and my Eddie Bauer fleece vest (that I've owned for years) on top of my Everett. Pants are Minus33 Expedition wool leggings with wool socks.

I have to admit that wool isn't keeping me as warm as I expected, guess it's my age. I'm glad I have things to layer.

Day 23 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

No styling today, just me and my Everett at my desk. Today I have on my 32Degrees twill joggers. I like the fit and feel of them. Just right for a day at home with the space heater on while I work in my office. Not sure about the color mix but no one is going to see me but hubby.

Day 7 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

It's been a week and I love the Everett more and more. Today is cold so it's not alone, I'm wearing a base layer from 32 degrees, inexpensive fleece leggings and wool socks (the holiday socks just aren't as warm). Then I added a quilted vest from 32 degrees. It's -2 degrees at 10:30 and still only 63 in the house (our heat pump just can't keep up). Running the space heater in my office.

It does feel strange to think I've only finished one week of the challenge and there are 13 more (plus a couple of days) left to go. Again, since I'm team basic, it'll be mostly leggings with an occasional vest on uber-cold days along with various under layers. On the cruise, I will wear it for a photo, then sleep in it (well, unless we have a cold snap and that does happen).

All-in-all, I'm quite pleased with it and wouldn't hesitate to get another, even realizing it's not quite as warm as I expected by itself. I love layering! (The older I get, the more I feel the cold...)

Day 4 - 100 Day Wool& Challenge

Today I'm layering my 32Degrees mock turtle base layer underneath. Boots are already on. I added both of these late yesterday as I got colder. My Christmas leggings and socks don't quite match, but since I'm not leaving the house, who cares? LOL! Oh, and I remembered the mirror on the back of our guest room door so hubby doesn't have to take the pics!

I bought this tunic in hopes it would work for our late October visit in Scotland. Still think it will but will definitely be layering merino underneath as well as merino socks. For now I'm continuing to use what I have already.
