Simple day with the Everett over my VIV Collection leggings (Amazon), Forcool merino socks (Amazon), and Allbirds Wool Runners (these have little bees embroidered on the side - I got them new on ebay at a bargain price, I suspect they were a custom order that got rejected or maybe part of a company thing).
Late yesterday, I noticed two stains in the front and had no idea where they came from. I tried a diluted Dawn mixture first. Wet the spot with cool water, poured a little Dawn mix on, rubbed a bit, rinsed, and hung to dry. Thanks to being over a heat register, it dried quickly but I could still see a little stain. So I tossed in the washer with Woolite and hung to dry when that was done. By bedtime, it was dry but the stain was still visible (at least to me).
I researched oil stains in the Facebook group, thinking this might have been butter from my veggies the night before), and saw that Ivory was recommended. Having some on hand, I figured, what the heck. So I repeated the wetting, wet the bar of Ivory and rubbed in a bit, rubbed the stain area a little, rinsed, and hung to dry over night.
This morning I held my breath as I checked - VOILA! The stain was completely gone. Phew!
