Once again I am participating in the Share Your World challenge.
You can learn more and see the instructions HERE.
One of the blogs I now follow, thanks to the April A-Z Challenge, posts the Three Things Challenge. Here are the instructions:
Use your imagination and creativity using one, two or all three words that may or may not be related. There are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre, though please keep it family friendly.
Today's words are: SHELTER, PLACE, HIDE

It's Monday and Share Your World time. I enjoyed doing this last week and thought I'd participate this week as well. Enjoy!
Wednesday night, I got no sleep, but did take a two hour nap during the day. Last night I managed to sleep nine hours. Yay.
Yay, until 1:00-ish when I got my optical aura. For years, I never got the headache afterwards. That changed a couple years back. Now 50-60% of the time the aura is followed by a headache.
Today I'm the loser - getting off the computer and letting the TV watch me. I just started binging Heartland.

I'm doing something a little different, a blog hop post. I used to do a lot of these but over the years have drifted away. One of my new A to Z friends posted her thoughts today and it got me to looking at the host. I think I will do these more often. Thank you to the post today on J Dub's Grin & Bear it blog.
Runny noses, itching eyes, post-nasal drip, ticklish throat, sneezing all day - it's that time of year.
Over the years, my jewelry box has changed as have my habits. As a teenager in the 60s, jewelry was kept to a minimum. Maybe some pearls for special occasions, but that was it.
Believe it or not, I had made soup once before we moved to Ecuador. I was in my young 20s and living in New Hampshire. I decided to make some corn chowder. It was delicious but I never made it again (blame it on a bad marriage and too many moves).
