I have a quirk. A quirk that can be irritating at times. But a necessary quirk.
What is the quirk? I don't like using soup spoons and full-sized forks. When a soup spoon is offered, I ask for a regular spoon. Less spillage.
Forks, I like the salad size forks. Shorter and I'm less apt to stab my lips. Yes, stab my lips!
I guess I have a small mouth? I don't know. But I do know I prefer small spoons and forks.
Do you have any eating utensil quirks?
That was my mother's rule, too. And mine with kids in the house. Now that it's just us, I have no problem dropping an unused utensil back in the drawer.
