I have a bad habit. When I find something I like in clothing, I tend to buy multiples. I even get two of the same color because, you know, things wear out.

Yesterday we chatted about books being cozy. Nice, but doesn't give me a cozy feeling. What are some things that do make me feel cozy?
When is a cozy book not a cozy? What is a clean mystery that doesn't fit the general criteria of a cozy?

I was inspired to answer this question thanks to another blog post, No Second Guessing. Here are my thoughts...

It's Monday and Share Your World time. I enjoyed doing this last week and thought I'd participate this week as well. Enjoy!
Wednesday night, I got no sleep, but did take a two hour nap during the day. Last night I managed to sleep nine hours. Yay.
Yay, until 1:00-ish when I got my optical aura. For years, I never got the headache afterwards. That changed a couple years back. Now 50-60% of the time the aura is followed by a headache.
Today I'm the loser - getting off the computer and letting the TV watch me. I just started binging Heartland.

I'm doing something a little different, a blog hop post. I used to do a lot of these but over the years have drifted away. One of my new A to Z friends posted her thoughts today and it got me to looking at the host. I think I will do these more often. Thank you to the post today on J Dub's Grin & Bear it blog.
Runny noses, itching eyes, post-nasal drip, ticklish throat, sneezing all day - it's that time of year.
Over the years, my jewelry box has changed as have my habits. As a teenager in the 60s, jewelry was kept to a minimum. Maybe some pearls for special occasions, but that was it.
Believe it or not, I had made soup once before we moved to Ecuador. I was in my young 20s and living in New Hampshire. I decided to make some corn chowder. It was delicious but I never made it again (blame it on a bad marriage and too many moves).
A friend posted about the their wedding and rings for the letter V for vows in the April A to Z Blog Challenge. That brought to mind my journey with rings.
Aren't you glad I moved on to a new letter? Actually, I'm tail-gating piggy-backing on yesterday's post: Clothing - Clothes?
Did you know clothing is the clothes people wear? Huh, confusing, isn't it. Then there is cloth like in facecloth or the cloth you buy to make clothing (or make clothes?). And we can't forget closet, which has no connection with clothes/clothing. It came from the French word 'closet' for small enclosure.
Anyone who has known me for very long, knows I love coffee. I'll continue drinking, even after it's gotten cold (I do have a Mr. Coffee warmer on my desk). I'm not big on foo-foo drinks but I do love a good iced cappuccino. And I do enjoy McDonald's coffee - senior size with two cream and two sugars.

I can be a compulsive counter.
Not just to go to sleep where I've been known to count to one hundred in Spanish, but when walking.

Have you ever felt invisible? I have. Not most times. In fact, I sometimes feel too visible. Most of my life I worried about how I looked, how I sounded, how I appeared to others. Now in my 70s, I worry less about what others think of me. I'm still me. I haven't changed. Well, except for looking older...
I thought about this incident last night before I fell asleep. On a recent cruise, a younger woman we met (maybe in her 40s) said this to me after meeting Stu and I and chatting a while. "I don't mean to be mean, but I thought you were his mother." Um, really?
My body seems to have an affinity to crooked seams. I remember wearing stockings with seams (many years ago) and it was always difficult to get them straight. Now it's my newer leggings with seams. I pull them on straight, I swear I do, but next thing I know, they're crooked.
